Helping founders of curated retail concepts make better decisions and grow faster.

Hello, my name is

Jakub Veselsky

I have nearly 20 years of experience creating and leading retail projects. I’ve gone through building businesses from scratch, rapid growth phases, and also challenging periods where it was necessary to turn over every stone, find savings, and fight to keep the business alive.

It was in those moments that I fully realized how much potential we had left untapped during times of “prosperity.” And from conversations with other founders, I discovered that this isn’t an exception—it’s actually a very common pattern.

That’s why I founded hoWrizon. Its goal is to help founders reach their business potential faster—by avoiding unnecessary mistakes and getting access to key information earlier.

I love independent retail and want to see more of it.
Most of these projects are driven by talent and passion, which can carry them forward for a long time. At the same time, many important things tend to be postponed—or not addressed at all.

Until companies reach a size where they have in-house experts across all key areas, they remain weak in many of them.

My goal is to help close these gaps—so the business can develop properly on all fronts and reach its full potential faster.

I’m not a consultant who delivers recommendations and disappears.

I work more as a guide—helping you define your next horizon, understand what it takes to get there, and supporting you in actually moving things forward at key moments.

I’m not an expert in everything either, but I’m surrounded by a network of specialists (e.g. real estate, legal, e-commerce development, etc.) who we bring in as needed.

Sometimes it’s about quickly realigning direction, other times about gaining a deeper understanding of reality.
And when it makes sense to go further, we work together to ensure that real change happens—and gradually continues to work even without me.
